Gas Processing Plants

Key Projects

Every gas processing plant we design and operate is a testament to our technical capacity, our excellence in management, and our commitment to efficiency and profitability. Below, we present two of our most significant projects, executed under EPC and O&M contracts.

Our experience, materialized in large-scale energy infrastructure projects.

cryogenic plant in Mexico

Localización de la planta

Our next-generation Processing Center maximizes the value of Mexico's natural gas resources through advanced processing technology. It has a capacity to condition up to 345 MMpcd of sour natural gas.

In compliance with NOM-001-SECRE-2010, the plant delivers quality gas to CENAGAS pipelines. Its economic impact is reflected in the transformation of more than 4,800 barrels of LPG per day, equivalent to a domestic gas cylinder every five seconds.

Cutting-edge Technology: Cryogenic Towers

Our cryogenic towers are custom-designed using an enhanced GSP+ configuration, specifically adapted to meet process requirements.

This optimized design enables high efficiency in ethane removal and LPG fraction production within a single tower, all while operating with reduced pressure drop to maximize energy efficiency and performance.

Total contract value

This facility processes up to 180 MMpcd of sour gas, removing high concentrations of H₂S (1,100 ppm) and CO₂ (1.3%) using MDEA-based amine technology. The treated gas meets Mexican standard NOM-001-SECRE-2010, reducing H₂S to less than 4.25 ppm and CO₂ to 0.7% mol.

It features an integrated amine regeneration system, advanced control and safety systems, and was delivered completely under a EPC and O&M contract, from design and commissioning through continuous operations, with successive extensions through December 2027.
